Residenza Corso Saba is a brand new charming guesthouse placed in a perfect position, in Corso Umberto Saba 36, a few steps far either from the bus station Barriera Vecchia and the hospital (Ospedale Maggiore) and less than 500 meters from the main train station, Trieste Centrale. All the main interest points of Trieste itself are also reachable within walking distance.

Residenza Corso Saba has 6 brand new rooms ideal for couples or solo travelers, even if one of them could be suitable for 3 people as well. Each room of our structure has a different name which recalls a main character of Trieste;

Residenza Corso Saba isn’t at ground level, but it’s been created on a third floor of an ancient palace: unfortunately there’s no lift, but our Staff will be happy to help you with you heavy bags should you be in need.
At Residenza Corso Saba we do not serve breakfast: nearby there are plenty of bars and our Staff will be glad to supply you plenty of recommendations on where to go and get the best quality price ratio.
Check in and check out
as we are a small guesthouse, we don’t supply 24 hours reception. Check in time is therefore available from 3 pm to 7 pm. After this time, and in case you contact us in advance, we are able to allow late check in till 11 pm with an extra fee of 20 euro, to be paid cash only.
Maximum check out time is 11 am. After this term you can drop your bags free of charge till 7 pm.
More about our Rooms
Each room of our structure has a different name which recalls a main character of Trieste, therefore we do have:
- La Bora, which gives its name to the strong wind we often have in town
- Mandracchio, the so called fisherman, as Trieste is a city with an important harbor and overlooking the sea
- Caffè San Marco, one of the historical cafè of Trieste
- Barcolana, our triple room, which takes its name from the important boat contests we have every year at the begininning of October
- I Musicisti, as many important musicians were born in Trieste which is a town of culture
- Ponterosso, one of the most famous areas of the town
